Respectfully, that position is hard to remotely argue for. In the last 100 years, just look at what developed: the Internet, the microchip, personal computing, the smart phone, satellites, space exploration and rocketry, the application of relativity, personal credit cards, medical imaging, DNA sequencing, Digital platforms like Uber and VRBO, automobile and airplane mass transit, GPS technology, new medical treatments and devices, the laser, cell networks, AI engines that can beat humans in complex games, etc. I could name at least 100 more significant technological developments.
I have a hard time seeing a new technology in our lives in the next 10 years that will surpass the development of the Internet, let alone all of the other things mentioned. I agree the pace of technological progress will improve, but to discount the achievements of the last 100 years shows a lack of reflection.
Without question, AI is going to change almost everything for the next 10 years
