This is my favorite topic. Build vs buy. Its always interesting as I see clients waffle on this. Is this solution directly impacting the core value that you bring to your customer? Then build it. Own it. Have 100% control. If it's not. You should lease/buy it.

The problem with AI is having the skill set to build out the algorithms etc. That's why I would look for a vendor that had something that we could adapt if it did not meet all our needs.
