In healthcare, technology is both a boon and a burden. While it's indispensable for many functions, it also ranks among the top causes of clinician burnout. EHRs can be overwhelming, featuring numerous buttons and multiple methods for a single action. Additionally, many systems are fragmented, lacking seamless integration or communication, further complicated by outdated governmental mandates. Despite these challenges, the advancements in hardware and assistive devices, coupled with emerging AI systems, offer promising improvements.
