Distribute across the team and report it in our system for compliance purposes

Over $100 value - Reject as it's against policy - also this is a huge turnoff when looking at potential vendors. Had a potential vendor offer a Nintendo Switch to watch a demo. This is a hard no for ever working with that vendor.

Under $100 value - Share if possible but ok to consider keeping

Share with office unless it's monetarily above $100 then return it. Though the last time I tried to return one to sender I ended up paying a customs charge later !

I have a situation that many times these arrive by post and when I'm not physically there, making it very awkward to send back to the vendor. So we donate these. Otherwise they know they shouldn't send any and they don't most of the time, so the actual pile to donate is fairly small each year.
If we get cake/biscuits/chocolate, then it is for the whole office & we send a thank you note (then re-iterate that they shouldn't send any, next time we meet).

It depends on whether everyone on the team is receiving gifts or just me. If everyone is receiving, then I might accept it.
