What advice do you have for technology leaders that need help navigating the US administration's executive order to recalibrate the nation's AI strategy? Where do I begin?

I'd rather say ... stimulate the freedom of thoughts. According to what I read (and different to the EU AI Act), the executive order is aiming to "boldly go where no man has gone before" with respect to AI applications.

Begin with an internal audit and assess your AI systems for transparency, bias, and security. Establish cross-functional teams (tech, legal, risk) to ensure compliance. Invest in upskilling your teams on ethical AI and stay engaged with NIST guidelines and industry forums. It’s not just about compliance. It’s an opportunity to lead responsibly and shape the future of AI.
