We have been on S/4 for 5 years now and have leveraged standard reporting but also have built a suite of dashboards and reports via Power BI. User experience in S/4 reporting is mixed.
We have reporting and metrics across Planning, Sourcing & Procurement, Logistics and Distribution etc. We are now beginning to leverage Google BigQuery as the next stage.

We are a Bio-pharma mfg company (Top 4) and we have SAP HANA 1809 (on path to SAP HANA 2023 upgrade).
We have adopted SAP SAC for real time reporting and AWS based Data lake for long term, strategic reports.
Both tools have various KPI dashboard, key focus is to get actionable insights from those to fuel a conversation and projects to change.

we're are using Power BI to show & analyze the data, and build metrics. Power BI gets data from the SAP data lake. Key metrics are related to inventory levels and customer service.
