Have you ever intentionally engaged with a Phishing attack? What were the results?

I received a suspicious text the other day asking if I was free and that the person who I allegedly knew could only text and not call. I did say I was available since that was innocuous enough and there were no malicious links to click. As soon as I was asked to get Google Play gift cards, I blocked the contact and deleted the text. It was simple enough and seemingly harmless at first since there weren’t any links to click - but it did go downhill pretty fast. I could’ve stayed for another round or two but it was just easier to bail.
Once I was sitting in a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) office and some firm called—you could clearly hear that it was an Indian call center. You could hear people in the background that didn't fit their claim that they were calling from the IRS, and they said I was behind on my taxes and that they had a warrant for my arrest.
When I get these phishing emails and I have time, I actually call the number and it's hilarious. I keep them going for 30 minutes and they want to remote into my computer. I just have fun with them and at the end, I tell them that I know what's going on. It kills some time, but there are people that actually fall for this. Otherwise, they wouldn't be doing it.
There's a hacker that got into some of these call centers and hacked their cameras; he actually sits there watching them while they're on the phone with him, laughing at them.
Once I was petrified on a call with a phisher and I disconnected it. They repeatedly called me back thinking that they really lost my signal or whatnot. These guys will never stop.
Not online, but on the phone a couple of times, Just for fun. Typically the person on the other side starts laughing in about 2 mins and hangs up.
