I wouldn't say it is rather difficult to find a way to use blockchain as part of the development cycle. It's more about finding a problem that can be solved better with blockchain than with the other tech. So far I couldn't find such problem.

not yet.. but I got an idea of having release hashes to be blockchain transactions to mark the them immutable and verifiable without sharing their MD5 or SHAs.. just an initial thought..

Not just yet. However, a client of ours did have an idea of creating a freelancer platform whose payment as well as validation of delivery was all Blockchain based that would require no manual/centralized intervention. We are doing the consultation on that project and firmly believe the model could scale well.
