In locations that have poor cabling access for copper or fiber, 5G has enabled a more steady internet connection. It is also a backup internet for many who also may experience power outages (and thus modems are off). With this, there is an increase in available remote workforce especially for virtual assistants and remote developers.
We've heard a lot of hype about 5G, and a lot of predictions about what will be possible, but we are not seeing a direct impact so far. What we are seeing is infrastructure is slowly ramping up to support 5G, and that in itself has a positive impact.
I don't think it's had any noticeable impact in the professional services field yet other than better and faster connectivity for our employees.
I have not seen the noticeable impact from business or daily activities perspective. US is still developing it's infrastructure. For the past couple years during the Covid, the focus was on digital transformation.
