Passwordless login is the future. MFA is the de facto standard at the moment, more and more customers are implementing it, but passwordless is what's coming up

In the "coming year" it will definitely be Multi-Factor Authentication. Is currently very adopted, it could change in a mid term to Biometrics or Passwordless.

I think Multifactor where it is Password (expires at least every 90 days, perhaps 120) with Biometrics.  The combination of the two would allow the password to be used a bit longer (less writing it down which is good), and add a factor that 100% of the time you always have it with you.   We've tried keys generated on phones, etc, but believe it or not occasionally forget their personal or work cell phones.  Very few lose their faces, eyes, fingerprints etc.   The bad guys keep getting more sophisticated, so MFA is very likely to increase.
