Sort by:
red tape and bureaucracy
The most critical roadblocks are a lack of resources, a poor digital strategy and bureaucracy.
Lack of budget, lack of talent and skills to implement new technologies.
Training and communication are often overlooked issues that can affect the speed or success of digital transitions.
Training is often overlooked with the thought that those involved will just learn it because they have to, or they will learn along the way. This may be true for those who are very motivated or have great intuition, but it is not the general rule.
Excellent, clear communication begets buy-in and is necessary to the process. Speaking of process, the process and pathways in the transition need to be clearly communicated as well in order to show everyone involved the means of getting from the beginning to the end goal.
From my experience the today organization of many company it is not suitable to the high change demand of a real digital trasformation agenda.
Fusion team and democratized and distribuited tecnology delivery can be part of the solution but it is hard pushing these huge mindset and organization change.
Company IT leader is not able to push these change in cultural maturity in short time, so what it is really need is that all C-level undestand and sponsor a mindset cultural and organization change.
