Huge benefits on working for a start-up - especially when considering the stage of your career.
The one big benefit of big corporate used to be "job security" -- but that is out the window now in my view, especially in tech.

Having spent time in three different startups, I can tell you firsthand that it's an extraordinary journey. The immense influence you wield, the rapid-fire learning opportunities, and the quickened pace of career progression are all powerful incentives. And of course, if the financial aspect aligns with your aspirations, including the potential equity upside, I honestly believe it's a path worth pursuing. Although, I must admit, my perspective may be somewhat skewed in favor of startups.

But let's pivot. If you envision your work life as more of a traditional "job", one that doesn't consume most of your waking hours, you might find a larger, more established company to be a better fit. After all, we all resonate with different environments and career paths. So, here's to finding the right stroke for you!

For me, working for a startup, there was always something new going on and a lot of change. From a technologist point of view, I enjoyed learning and solving new problems in new situations all the time.

In an established company, you get more steady, consistent work and usually a lot more certainty in what you will be doing from day to day.

If you like to go from idea to product or done fast start ups should be better. If you like to wear many hats and get your hands dirty and enjoy lean processes, start ups are also good for that.
