Is Anyone using IBP software for long-term planning, specifically for the Distribution and Retail industry? If so, is that Tool developed in-house or are you using any Supply Chain Tech Company plug-and-play tools?  Feel free to share other recommendations as well.

You should have a look at Relex which is a great retail/distribution SC control tower to support the IBP process

We are currently deploying SAP-IBP for our distribution and retail businesses. SAP-IBP is a cloud based and configured system. As a part of our deployment strategy, we went through nearly 100 exploratory workshop sessions with SAP to capture business requirements that are now being configured within the tool. There are other systems such as Logility that are also good. The system you select depends on the business case and where value is created in the supply chain. For example, there are companies that have large focus on portfolio management and product life cycle management. There are IBP systems that are more tailored for such business environments. No system is perfect.

We use SAP as our technology platform and SAP-IBP comes embedded with the ERP (S4). So it made sense for us to use SAP-IBP.
