Any recommendations for tools that help with keeping track of application version, vendor, reseller, status of application, owner, contract start and end dates? I know that ServiceNow has some features to keep track of software but I wonder if there are others.

I have heard that Flexera is good. I think they also offer an integration with Mega's HOPEX architecture tool.

ServiceNow excels in many areas, but for meticulous software asset management, consider specialized tools. Flexera provides granular insights into versions, vendors, contracts, and compliance. For a streamlined interface, Spiceworks simplifies IT asset tracking, including contracts and ownership. Integrating either with ServiceNow creates a comprehensive software management solution.

I think i would look to keep that information in your ITSM toolset, most of the toolsets i've seen can store this type of information

I have used Manage Engine, worked well for both endpoints and servers.

I guess this would depend a lot on company objectives, but it could be as simple as utilizing Spiceworks.
