How is the best way for a sales team to be educated, coached and mentored?  What is the cadence? And who are the educators (are the educators from outside the company or employees)?

I have found that frontline sales leadership coaching has the greatest impact on performance. And too many sales leaders do not know how to coach properly. Investing in creating frontline leaders as masterful coaches is powerful.

The best way to educate, coach, and mentor a sales team involves a combination of formal training sessions, ongoing coaching, and mentorship programs. The cadence can vary depending on the needs of the team, but regular training sessions supplemented by frequent coaching sessions are typically effective. Mentorship should be continuous and tailored to the individual needs of each team member.

As for educators, a mix of internal and external resources can be beneficial. Internal sales leaders and experienced team members can provide valuable insights specific to the company's products, processes, and culture. External trainers and coaches can bring in fresh perspectives, industry best practices, and specialized knowledge. Combining both internal and external resources can provide a well-rounded education for the sales team.

Educated: Mostly done best by skilled facilitators who have carried a bag.   You need the credibility to connect to sellers.
