I see role transitioning from Technology leader to Enteprise Value Orchestrator. Over the next year, the CIO will shift from running IT to orchestrating enterprise value by scaling AI platforms, governing multi-vendor ecosystems, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Trust and accountability remain big topics for CISO. So being able to prove that cybersecurity investments deliver results (= desirable outcomes when facing adversity such as a cyber attack, or failed compliance audit). The outcome might matter more than the activities performed. It might be time to focus on cyber resilience more than cybersecurity.
