We have cloud-based matter management in Team Connect and iManage, and continue to improve processes on those platforms.  We are also investigating AI capabilities in the market including CoCounsel, IP Author, and the broader use of Microsoft’s CoPilot.

My former department had recently implemented OKRs positioned at 30, 60, & 90 day work streams. It helped folks have piecemeal bite size goals both short and slightly longer term that bled into the next quarter on occasion. They were timed with the quarterly filing period of the company and assisted managers gain insight into their staff’s thinking around what they believe their main duties/responsibilities & overall jobs are, what is urgent vs not and where to prioritize ruthlessly

At this time, I do not have any money in my budget to purchase “legal” technology software. I have worked, however, with our IT department and administrative support staff to more fully utilize the software we do have to increase efficiencies. Specifically, we have created a contract tracking system using Google sheets. I know that some May view this as primitive, but sometimes you have to start somewhere.

We have adopted comprehensive tools like Spotdraft which have CLM abilities as well as act as a central repository for documents across the group. Additionally, given the lightning speed at which the regulatory framework is evolving in India we have subscribed to more nuanced knowledge management tools in addition to software like Manupatra.
