16 personalities is an online free platform and I think it does a great job. you can also purchase other assessments that i've found to be really helpful and interesting.

I don't see it mentioned yet in the comments, but I'm a big fan of the HBDI for helping people understand their own work styles and collaborate better.

We use DISC and HOGAN, varies based on levels, grades and type of program. My personal favorite is DISC, as a DISC certified professional beyond conducting group orientation on DISC, I also conduct 1-1 DISC coaching conversation, its also a great tool which helps break the ice and start a coaching conversation.

We use DiSC and Myers Briggs Type Indicator as part of our team effectiveness portfolio. They are tools used for building trust within teams and providing teams with the initial tools for effective communication, constructive conflict and decision making.

We use DiSC is mainly for our NEX and front-line population since it's easier to digest and focused on leveraging observable behaviors.

MBTI is more comprehensive and focuses on both observable and intrinsic traits which is why we leverage this resource for our leaders.

Both are great tools, and I am certified in both assessments. If I had to choose one, I would suggest MBTI since there is more than can be unpacked from a leadership perspective. However, it really depends on your audience.

We utilise DiSC for team effectiveness, often combined with exercises supporting 5 dysfunctions of a team. For individual development we gravitate towards StrengthsFinder, sometimes combined with a 360 assessment
