I think rebranding helped Twitter reinvent itself and reach new audiences, but it is still too early to say how it will impact the platform's long-term success.

The shift reflects the direction in which he hopes Twitter to move - X is a platform that is sharper, provides accurate information & is more "tech" than conversational.

Everyone still calls it Twitter, even on the news. Don't have any opinion on the rebrand as the change of management was sufficient to change the approach, they were taking to allowing people on the platform.  It was the change of management that changed my view of the platform.

It will become "X formerly known as Twitter" just like "The Artist formerly known as Prince"

I think there is too many social media. Decentralized solution could change something in this game. As for X they should just X it ;)
