What third party software have you successfully used to manage supply chain / operations savings project data, project pipelines, status/ change logging, and leadership reporting?  While our maturity does not require an ERP bolt-on or full integration, our homegrown Excel-Python-SQL solution is reaching its peak capabilities and requires significant resource time to maintain.

I need to dive deep into my response based on your statement, "our homegrown Excel-Python-SQL solution is reaching its peak capabilities and requires significant resource time to maintain.". This is a "keep the light-on approach" while sacrificing a long-term scalable plan to adopt an efficient ERP system. So, the answer to your questions about supply chain platforms is that many choices are available to suit your industry, fulfillment strategy, and the maturity of your technology and data organization. The best approach is to identify your goals not based on upgrading an ERP system but on getting specific benefits it unlocks to your customers, and that outs your business goals in the fast lane. This is based on my experience digitizing supply chains for Home Depot Depot, Kroger, and Whole Foods, as well as consolidating these systems to adopt a homegrown system where applicable.

I wanted to share my experience using McKinsey Wave for managing supply chain and operations savings project data, project pipelines, status/change logging, and leadership reporting. As someone who has navigated the complexities of procurement and project management, I found Wave to be a powerful tool that significantly streamlined our processes:

1. Single Source of Truth
2. Stage-Gate process
3. Automated workflow
4. Tracking and Reporting
5. User-Friendly interface

In my role, implementing Wave allowed us to manage a global procurement reengineering project more effectively. The tool's ability to handle multi-currency transactions and its comprehensive reporting capabilities were invaluable in ensuring the project's success across +30 countries.

This isn't easy to answer because you do not know the exact industry or company. Technology solutions must be fit for purpose and designed to scale with the organization's growth while providing a user-friendly experience.

Some of the top-of-mind technology-enabling tools that are gaining momentum in the business ecosystem are project management software (Smartsheet as one example), Precoro for workflow approvals, Anaplan, and Blue Yonder.

I hope this helps.
