We are largely virtual however getting together periodically is in my view essential. Also I love the quote around needing to make sure that people come into the office for the right reasons and purpose as it is "a magnet and not a mandate"

Do you think that using AI coding tools can cause developers to feel less engaged with their work? What are some signs that this could be happening for a team member?

What types of rewards and recognition programs is everyone using?  Not a platform (i.e. we don't have money to spend on it), but rather, what are some home-grown ideas, i.e. Town Hall shout-outs, monthly emails, etc?  Looking for advice on how to get managers to commit to it on a regular basis without having to police them.
