We had recently implemented a new immutable backup solution which made the recovery of our server environment much easier.  The long grind was end user computers.

Lucky we had a minimum impact looking at the numbers but it doesn't mean less disappointment for those affected or the IT Managers called to fix the systems remotely deployed.

As I said somewhere else, a rollback and at end user management process must be in place for such kernel critical / core updates.

No impact directly, however the double-whammy of a Microsoft 365 outage at the same time has exacerbated the recovery process of cloud-based servers and desktops for supply-chain services providers who have experienced outages of their Microsoft-cloud based apps.

The supply-chain service providers had to wait for Microsoft 365 & Azure to come back before they could even attempt to provide the Crowdstrike provided resolution to the Blue-Screened Windows servers.
