How would your family describe what you do?

My wife thinks that I'm like a guy that only plays a doctor on TV, because I just go around speaking at events about what I do.
When my daughter was younger, she used to tell people that I graded papers for a living.
When my son was nine and had to describe what I did in my first CISO job, he said, "He answers a lot of phone calls, takes a lot of meetings and tells people no an awful lot when they try to do something stupid." That’s the best description of my role.
Probably similar to other people in IT, my family thinks of my work as tech support. I fixed thermostats, VCRs and clocks in the 90s, so they think I still work on clocks today, it's just that they’re digital now. Their impression of my role doesn’t include anything about organizational hierarchy and structure or strategy, they just know I can fix their Macbook.
