Recent executive orders impact my role by pushing for AI development with transparency, tightening cybersecurity and compliance in digital services, and emphasizing government efficiency, which pressures IT budgets. No impacts as of yet.
My employees who are in the US on H1B Visas have been more forthright when asking about how and when their contracts are being extended. My employees who work overseas ask more often how people are doing, and if they are safe.
No tangible impacts as of yet. However, staff have been surprisingly upbeat in regards to many of the announcements.
