I firmly believe that in the context of Agentic AI and AI-enabled bots, the competition is more between Salesforce and Microsoft rather than Google and Microsoft. Salesforce's Agentforce technology, powered by its CRM offerings, is leading the way in delivering agents that effectively automate business processes while maintaining determinism

I've had chatbot demos from Google and from Microsoft.  I'd say right now Google has the edge and that's mostly based on them being a search engine at it's core and understanding how search works.  Their agents are easy to build, literally a few minutes and then some tuning.  Microsoft is so heavily invested in AI though that whatever deficits they may have now, I assume they'll quickly catch up with Google.

There would not be a clear winner here. Chatbot development with AI is an evolving field, and we will not see maturity soon. However, it will be good for consumers for the foreseeable future.

IMO, It is too early to predict.

Some of the companies will definitely have advantage for various reasons like early players, big tech, pricing etc. With the number of internet users growing, there will be space for everyone to succeed. Not just Google or Microsoft or OpenAI for that matter. Even a 3rd / 4th player will foray into the market with flying colors. It all depends on taking right decision at the right time.

Both will share successes, I'm unsure if there will be a definitive winner between the two anytime soon. I've been on team Microsoft for years but it's unrealistic to think Google isn't just as much an industry leader.
