We have recently gone live with Manhattan as our WMS in our distribution center--it links into our ERP which is SAP.  We are looking to others to find out how they have established their operating models when it comes to software that is configurable at the business level (within Supply Chain--specifically the Distribution Centers).  What is the role that IT plays with these types of solutions chosen by the business outside of the SAP first methodology?

The key is finding the right balance between business autonomy and IT control, not an either or situation.

We just went live with scale MH. We are yet to establish an operating model but as of now it’s primarily managed by business in collaboration with scale support as needed.
