In our on-premise environment DC's are connected with MPLS VRF's (no encryption). When planning the migration to Cloud, the suggestion to encrypt the traffic FW to FW with IPsec, was met with the question, "why is this different to our current setup...as the Cloud will really just be our next DC..."

Do you have any views on this argument? It comes with an additional challenge that implementing FW to FW IPSec will require additional investment in on-premise FW infrastructure.

We are a longtime VMWare customer and have maintain support for our perpetual license annually. We have been told with the Broadcom acquisition that we will be forced to the subscription model and we should expect a large price increase. We just renewed, so we have some time to plan. I'm wondering what others have seen or are hearing around this. If anyone has received their renewal, it would be great to hear some percentage of increase details.

My sales teams makes use of email (Outlook) communications a lot and with all the POPIA law we need to make sure they do not send sensitive information to the wrong recipient, and we need to protect the company against data loss. I need to know what you are using to secure the email channel interactions but also other channels like teams. We currently have Tessian as a tool to protect our emails and we are exploring Purview of Microsoft? Any advice on these two technologies (Tessian vs Purview)
