We are in the middle of an agile transformation (health insurance industry) and are implementing SAFe.  We are already far down a DevOps path and have our API/SOA Team working in a software factory -  these folks are not currently integrated into the ARTs as they provide reusable, horizontal services that are orchestrated in an ESB and consumed by our web/mobile app and CRM apps. Does anyone have experience with integrating a software factory into ARTs and agile teams? Or should the factory stay separate somehow? All the literature I see talks about benefits of a factory but not HOW to integrate into an agile team’s sprint commitment.
